During this half day city tour, you’ll set off on a 3-hour trip to explore Buenos Aires with your own private guide. You’ll visit the most famous districts of the city, delving into its history, architecture and modern way of life, along with some of its best-kept secrets. Buenos Aires is a truly exceptional city - dynamic, sophisticated and, at times, overwhelming. You’ll begin the tour in the famous Plaza de Mayo. La Casa Rosada, also known as the Pink House, is the presidential palace. It was from this balcony that “Evita” – Eva Peron addressed hordes of Peron supporters. The atmospheric old tango districts of Montserrat, San Telmo and La Boca, the hustle and bustle of Puerto Madero, Retiro and Plaza San Martin, will be part of the morning tour.
The Recoleta Cemetery: Eva Peron’s untimely death to cancer at the age of 33 left Argentina speechless! Eva’s body did not stay at rest; her coffin travelled across Argentina, Spain and Italy. However,in 1976 her body finally came home to
Buenos Aires where it belonged. Within Recoleta Cemetery, Eva’s body lies at the Duarte Family Tomb.
She has been immortalized around the world in the 1978 musical Evita by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Rest in the afternoon because the evening comes full of excitement. A transfer will pick you up and take you to one of our traditional Tango Houses. La Ventana takes you back to older times. The interior architectural style has been preserved and creates an ideal setting for an unique experience: 32 performing artists, two
tango orchestras, a folklore ensemble, dancers and singers, a menu of traditional and international cuisine and an exquisite list of Argentinean wines! A 30 minute tango lesson will also be provided for those who wish!
The Tango will begin soon…
